Dan's Biography
Since obtaining his Certified Cash Manager (CCM) certification
in 1998, Dan has been dedicated to assisting organizations
in improving their cash management functions. Dan started
his treasury career in the corporate treasury department at
Arthur Andersen and then moved on to work for Equity Office
Properties and AON Corporation. While working at the aforementioned
employers, Dan's main responsibilities revolved
around the implementation of treasury best practices and treasury
workstations.
In early 2002 Dan started TreaSolution, Inc. which is a full
service treasury consulting and staffing company. Dan's current
responsibilities are the daily operation of TreaSolution in
addition to cash management and treasury technology consulting.
In 2003 Dan converted his Certified Cash Manager certification
to the current Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification.
Dan has been called upon to be a professional business speaker
for ABN AMRO, Financial Management Association, First Midwest
Bank, Northern Illinois University, SunGard Treasury Systems
and the Central Ohio, Chicago, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Minnesota,
Nebraska, New York, Northwest, Portland, Tampa Bay and Wisconsin
treasury management associations. Dan's past experience as
a business speaker has impressed audiences nationwide and
his clients frequently ask him to return for additional speeches
and presentations.
It is Dan's goal to stay abreast of current business trends
by continuous networking with business professionals. To meet
this goal, Dan is serving his sixth year on the Board of Directors
of the Treasury Management Association of Chicago (TMAC) and
is an active member of the Association for Financial Professionals
(AFP). Dan has also provided expert business opinion to national
publications and has been quoted in the Chicago Tribune, CFO
Magazine, Treasury and Risk Management Magazine, Financial
Executive Magazine, AFP Exchange Magazine and Business Finance
Magazine.
